What you’re looking at is a Lotus Seven replica made by RaceTech. The design is based on the Locust Locost Lotus Seven replica, and is called the ESTfield.

Now in general, kit cars and replicars tend to be tacky Fiero re-bodies. The only ones that are half way decent are the Cobra replicas. Westfield does make some great Lotus Seven replicas, but I’m still trying to figure out if the ESTfield falls in line with the Westfield cars, or if it’s more like a bunch of tubes bolted to the first engine found.

The kicker, this particular is powered by a 1300cc Lada engine and has an all Lada sourced drive train, and sold for 10k Euros or roughly $12k - turnkey.

New assembled Westfield cars (obvious comparison needed because of the name) however start at $30k, which will get you something like this with a 2 liter Ford engine..

Or would your $30k be better spent on something like this from ESTfield? Which has a 5.8L Small Block Chevy and will produce 375hp?

And here it is in its drag racing suit, with straight pipes (can’t really get much straigher than that).

And no, I’m not really in the market for one of these, but let’s just say if I was... I think I may just go with the monster ESTfield... I can dream..
